STUDIO
Space as experience
Founded in Buenos Aires in 2010, COOMA is an architecture studio with experience across different programs and scales: individual and collective housing, commercial spaces, workplaces, industrial architecture, equipment and urban projects.
We approach architecture as a practice connecting spatial experience, identity, materiality and use. Each commission emerges from the particular conditions of its site and program.
Design research
Each project is a specific investigation. Site, program, construction systems and materiality become opportunities to develop an architecture of its own, rather than predetermined formal responses.
Our practice connects design, technical development and construction, considering materialization a fundamental part of architectural research.
The studio
COOMA is directed by architects Guillermo Higa and Martín Díaz.
